The Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (E.S.E.E.) is one of the country's Social Partners, representing approximately 250,000 commercial SMEs. Since 1998, when our partnership began, the Organization's strategic objective has been to take on a new role of high added value, providing business services to SMEs, maintaining and strengthening that of their trade union representative. Today, E.S.E.E. implements co-financed projects of more than 40,000,000 euros in many areas of support for small and medium-sized enterprises. It supports innovative business models, such as 'Open Malls / Shopping Centers', aiming to enhance local markets and promote them as preferred places for shopping and consumer entertainment - an idea which is already being implemented in 60 cities across the country. It invests in the area of upgrading the skills of the workforce, implementing important vocational training activities with thousands of participants. It has provided advisory support to thousands of small businesses, aiming to enhance their competitiveness. And most importantly, it has been recognized as one of the most important representatives of the country's business community, supporting the dynamism, innovation and extroversion of its members.
